# 52 Raspberries - Cake and Filling

Raspberries - Cake and Filling
So I had a wedding cake for the following weekend, and had to prepare by making the filling - which happened to be a lot of raspberries, mushed and cooked into a pie-filling-like-filling. (If that makes sense!)
Of course, while in the kitchen, my son always comes in and asks if I'm making a cake. (He's 3.) Then he asks if he can make a cake. So this time - I made him a cake. This was a white cake, with buttercream frosting. I mixed about 2 tablespoons of smushed raspberries in with the frosting. He loved it!
(P.S. Do you see the butter in the background? That is what went into the frosting for the wedding cake...)
